Welcome to the East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club!

About us...
Founded in February of 2003, the East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club (EBCGSC) is a non-profit association to provide social support and communication in the East Bay area of San Francisco, CA. Our club is open to spouses and family members of all ranks from active duty, retired, reserve and auxiliary military personnel; Public Health service families; and widows or widowers of military personnel. We have a sister club located in Novato, CA known as the North Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club (NBSC).

New this year, the EBCGSC meeting locations will vary. Babysitting is available during meetings (RSVP required) on a donation basis. Changes of meeting time and location may be made periodically and will be communicated to all members of the club via e-mail.

UPCOMING CALENDAR EVENTS

Next General Membership Meeting

Our next General Membership meeting will be October 20th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The meeting will be on Coast Guard Island.

Childcare will be provided for $3.00 per child.

We will do a Holiday Recipe Swap at this meeting. Bring your favorite Holiday Dish to make and 20 copies of the recipe to exchange.

If you are unable to make something at home, please bring 20 cards with the name of the food that you purchased and the store that you can find it at.

We also recommend everyone bring their own empty Tupperware container to take a sampling home in.

After the meeting Rhiannon will also teach a short couponing class for all that are interested in becoming an "Extreme Couponer."

If you are interested in the class, please bring paper and pens to take notes.

Rhiannon is not an "expert" but she will teach you everything that she knows as well as give your some great resources to follow.

Layette

If you know of any Coast Guard family that is Active Duty E-5 or below who is stationed in the San Francisco Bay area and is expecting a new baby or just had one, please e-mail the eastbayspouses@yahoo.com with a completed layette form.

We are trying to place the following items in each basket: receiving blanket, towel/washcloth set, sleeper, onesies, diapers,

small toy ($3 or less), bib, socks, outfit, etc.
