Welcome to the East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club! Our web address has changed due to a very unfortunate internet mishap. The old address was taken over by a reseller who is using our information with some of their own inappropriate links. This is the official site — please update your internet favorites and bookmarks.

About us...
Founded in February of 2003, the East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club (EBCGSC) is a non-profit association to provide social support and communication in the East Bay area of San Francisco, CA. Our club is open to spouses and family members of all ranks from active duty, retired, reserve and auxiliary military personnel; Public Health service families; and widows or widowers of military personnel. We have a sister club located in Novato, CA known as the North Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club (NBSC).

New this year, the EBCGSC meeting locations will vary. Babysitting is available during meetings (RSVP required) on a donation basis. Changes of meeting time and location may be made periodically and will be communicated to all members of the club via e-mail.

The scholarship is for any dependant child of active duty, retired or deceased military members of any branch of the uniformed services. The applicants may be in college now or a graduating senior. The scholarship deadline is May 1, 2009 and the scholarship will be awarded in June. Applicants should review the scholarship program information sheet and complete the application. Applicaitons will be mailed to the EBCGSC. LAYETTE

If you know of any Coast Guard family that is an E-5 or below who is stationed in the San Francisco Bay area and is expecting a new baby or just had one, please e-mail the eastbayspouses@yahoo.com with a completed layette form.

We are trying to place the following items in each basket: receiving blanket, towel/washcloth set, sleeper, onesies, diapers, small toy ($3 or less), bib, socks, outfit, etc. If you would like to donate any of the items listed above please give them to Barbara Day or Crystal Garcia.
